How exactly do you calculate progressed charts? My birth date was May 8 1937. Do I count from May 8 (which would make July 20 the progressed date) or count from May 9 which would be July 21, 1937 ... same time of day and location. Thanks.

Hi, Dorothy. Thanks for the question. Yes, to progress a chart you count one day for a year. If you were born on May 8, 1937, then you look to May 9 for one year of age. The planet placements on that date represent one year. If you are 73 years old now, you look to the planet placements of July 20, and this is the progressed date for your 73rd year.
